Clare Bycroft is a research scientist at Deep Mind. She thinks about ways that deep learning models can be used to solve important problems in genetics, such as predicting how genetic variation impacts gene expression. She has a particular focus on ensuring the utility of such models in real-world settings. Before Deep Mind she worked with Genomics PLC, using human genetics data to propose new therapeutic targets.
