Researcher at CEA LIST

Adrian Popescu received his PhD from Télécom Bretagne (France) 2008 and is a researcher at CEA LIST (France) since 2010. He works on continual learning, multimedia content analysis, and user privacy. He co-authored over 80 papers which were published in venues such as ACM Multimedia, ICCV, ACM SIGIR, ACM JCDL, IEEE WACV, BMVC, ACM ICMR and in journals such as Neural Networks and CVIU. He contributed to over 20 research projects and coordinated five of them. His work on continual learning focuses on large scale datasets and on the use of pretrained models in order to make the process both fast and accurate.
